from the very first time I heard about ftx, it sounds eerily like a pre-planned ponzi scheme.

I will admit that I haven't studied the ftx issue carefully, but it basically goes that he was running a brokerage of some kind that buys and sells digital coins for sheep customers.

He squirrelled the money away or otherwise squandered it and then instead of facing his customers and admitting what he did, he just says "whoops I played a risky move, shouldn't have done that, and now my customers money is gone".

I am betting that he screwed his customers and that he still has ALL of his customers money, in his pockets.

The democrats sent tax money that went from the US to Ukraine in "war aids", this "war aid" was then invested into FTX, who then "lost" the money by funneling it to the democrats.

The customers didn't lose any money. The tax payers did.
