Does this bill force those striking rail workers to stay at their job? Can they quit and find work elsewhere? Why wouldn't they if their current job doesn't pay them what they think they are worth? Why is the government getting involved?

If they didn't think the current pay/benefits are worth the job, then they would quit their jobs find work elsewhere. Striking is a form of extortion by taking away your employer's stream of income. You were wrong saying I assumed it's not easy to change careers. That wasn't part of what I was saying. Life is given to us. Living is not.
