N.B.: He didn't check a bag on that flight, and lied to cops about having left the contents of the bag at the hotel (the hotel said he didn't).

Guy steals the luggage. Makes up a story. Gets caught in that. Like why the fuck this guy want to steal some random ladies luggage? Only reason it would make any sense is to satisfy a weird fetish. Bad look for him. And since he's on camera taking the luggage looking and the tag and removing it, he's fucked.
