Second, even if they do eventually pass this I don't think anyone is getting a cheque. Your $250k gender studies loan just becomes $240k.

I'm totally against any type of student loan forgiveness.

There are many trades right now that are desperately under maned. Biden should be offering 10k as incentive for people to enter these feilds. I would be on board with that.

On a personal note. Back when my sister was going to school. She used her student loans for everything. Didn't work at all so things like rent, food, gas and entertainment went on the loan. She also leased a car to travel to school, that went on the loan. Oh and a trip to the Bahamas. Not sure how that worked but that went in her loan as well! Because you know, students need time to unwind.

I have zero shits for the hole she dug herself.
