Even Stalin thought he was going to be taken away and shot a couple of times.

Either this is showing that loyalty to Xi comes above all else or else, as I believe Hu opposed removing the term limits, or it's far more banal, the old guy might have pooped his pants and not realized. It's possible he wasn't being removed from power, he was being escorted out for a nappy change.

He was the old top boss, and himself adhered to the 2-term limit policy.

Apparently, this happened right when foreign reporters came in.

Taiwan news reported that he had dementia and was escorted out. Mainland didn't report anything (not sure if they have now). Either this was a display for Western governments or he really had dementia.

Either way, it's a strange phenomenon to see dementia patients or deep state shills get removed from office.

I don't quite buy the dementia story. He was sitting there quietly, bothering nobody when he was forcefully ejected from the room.

If dementia were the problem, he could easily have been given an early retirement, but this would be handled quietly.

This was a show of force, a demonstration to others that your life and career will be ruined publicly if you go against the CCP.

Most likely his family will be persecuted also.

He is a mere casualty of war.

He was escorted INTO a meeting. Xi also had to tell him when to sit down. Looks like Western pedos are at it again with the fake news.

On the other hand, a dementia patient should be sitting at home, not attending government meetings. Although with Chinese culture and all that, it's probably just a sign of respect having him sit there.
