Because apparently requiring voter ID and verifying that you are alive and requiring that people only vote once constitutes "making it harder to vote."

Bad strawman argument. Voter ID and registration are commonly required in most states, and registration is required in all states. What Republicans want is a very expensive process for a very special ID that many would not have easy access to.
