Not at all to say that this guy isn't some creep....

The facts according to the police report:

• He was specifically parked here, facing West, along the South parking spots, taking up 3 slots: https://goo.gl/maps/11ua8wxJxn18HFck8 , nearest to the Comfort Inn across the street.
• His vehicle was specifically parked facing somewhat the direction of the pre-school, but had a shade screen in the front window, making that the least visible direction.
• He was in a 2013 F1150 Truck, the truck had a shade screen in the front window obscuring view, very dark tinted cab and back windows, and lighter tinted side windows.
• It was 4:30pm on a Tuesday, but the officer said he saw school aged kids at the playground and the officer claimed to see through the side windows at 6 feet away.
• The playground was across a sparse row of bushes and trees and about 250 feet away. The officer walked up from a direction where the playground was visible, but the chances that is was visible from where he was parked or when he pulled in that parking lot seem quite low.
• He was observed looking at porn on his phone.

...picked a bad empty parking lot for to pull off into for an after school-hours ...pull-off...and apparently overestimated the amount of privacy he had from his window shade and tinted windows. He mostly drew attention by parking like a douche.

The media reporting is quite fair. They could easily leave some details out and deceptively paint him like a pedo.
