Most of the instigators are under 18.

I really don't think the CIA and Mossad are dragging kids out of high school and sending them to Iran.

Ask yourself why you never moved to Iran to live there and then realise why people who do live there might not be happy with their lot

I can't believe as one of the few atheists here I have better knowledge of the bible than most.

Leviticus 19:28, “You shall not make gashes in your flesh for the dead, or incise any marks on yourselves.”

That's only because ancient people tattooed themselves to worship the archons. This would be entirely obvious to anyone who lived in the ancient world, and it's why trying to take every word literally today is so problematic.

Because "Christianity" has degraded into nothing but culture wars. All they care about is Leviticus 20:13 and Genesis 2:24.

The ancients would tattoo themselves for many reasons. Hunting, war, or potentially therapeutic reasons as is thought of Otzi the iceman:

The religious like to make everything about religion.

It was clearly the archon worship that Leviticus prohibits.

The meaning is typically understood as such, but it may have been understood differently at the time. Such markings were also a symbol of servitude at the time, this would perhaps be against the idea of serving no-one but the le God.

Isn't that the same thing? I guess that just extends it to human masters rather than only archons.
