Muslims are not supposed to have tattoos.

Muslims aren't supposed to drink alcohol or mutilate the body either, but some Muslims do those too.

Indeedie. Not all are orthodox in an extreme way. I've met many Kurds for example who appreciate a drink every now and then, the Kurds in particular integrate very well into other cultures and are very respectful of different ways of life, from my experience.
