A full 80% of the homes in Chicago have elevated, unsafe levels of lead in their drinking water. City politicians, including Mayor Lori Lightfoot, have failed the residents and neglected this problem that is no doubt responsible for developmental delays in children and additional health problems.

Did you know that when leaded gasoline became common, crime rates skyrocketed, and when it was banned, crime rates came back down? Lead in the environment correlates heavily with crime rates. This video is a pretty cool history of leaded gasoline.
