Since the Nord stream runs from Russia to Germany, it seems to me if the Russians wanted to stop the flow and use it as a bargaining chip they could simply close it off on their end, no sabotage or destruction required. So it makes little sense that they were behind this apparent sabotage as the lack of a usable pipeline considerably weakens their bargaining position. So whomever it was I is reasonable to assume they are against the Russian side.

Israel and US. Quite obviously.

Israel doesn't want anyone else interfering in their puppeteering of both US houses. Supranational and US deep state are in their pockets anyway, but they need to get rid of Putin to keep face when dissecting Russian territory into parts.

They already plastered their usual "It was Russia itself" false-flag bs all over German, French and even Spanish state-sponsored propaganda and msm.

Also: They need to implant a fresh mind control chip into the head of the next POTUS.

It is impossible for them to give up this kind of lid they got on geopolitics in general.

Their greed possibly actually is more endless than patience itself even can be.

Similar to your take, but different:

The US has been stoking the fire. Arms sales to Ukraine, billions of dollars in support. This “proxy” war against Russia dosent feel so proxy.

There were negotiations between Russia and Ukraine that were going to end in peace, the US ended that. This has to to with NATO expansion, and the submission of Russia.

Germany has a soft spot for Russia, and most likely was going to barter with the Russian, side step negotiations. They no longer can do that.

This is a direct escalation.

Remember, the US and the power that be appear to be making ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT and also reducing the human population, we are no longer necessary.

A world war is good to them. Not bad. This is constant escalation which we have seen from the US the whole time.

They want to dissect Russia into parts because no one was able to conquer this gigantic country.

US deep state asshats don't give a rat's ass about some Ukrainians or Russians dying for their megalomaniac plans.

So, for whatever reason: It is long overdue to smoke those parasites out of their mansions and panic rooms.

They're hiding in the dark because they can't survive in the light. Literally.

The US, Poland and the UK all have interests in supplying Europe with gas.

Poland and UK don't have the resources to sell. The US is the only reasonable suspect as Biden is deeply engaged in corruption in Ukraine, and the (((people))) who owned all the bio warfare labs there are also clearly in power in the US. It's not about providing the resources, it's about depriving Europe of them. Either to force NATO support of a full on Russia invasion or as resource warfare against the European people.

It has always been a goal of the USA since the end of WWII to prevent another major power from rising in Europe. The establishment of the UN, Nato, the Marshall Plan and the engineered crisis between Russia and the EU all serve this goal. Their sabotage of Nordstream is just yet another action meant to keep Europe down, and thus subservient to the global hegemon.

There's a country who keeps committing acts of terrorism to further their political goals

This country also keeps fucking around on the sea bed.

The same country also has a strategic naval base a stone's throw from the explosions. So they didn't need to rely on passing the Skagerrak undetected

The same country also is desperate to get NS2 activated (this explosion destroyed the only alternative to ns2).

The same country in addition had it's shills and mouthpieces immediately blame America, including their UN secretary, within hours of the explosions..

This country is also desperate for an escalation which will scare the west and end the war.

That country is the ruzzia.

It's not obvious that Russia gains a lot from the sabotage. They could already stop the flow of gas at their end, if that's what they wanted.

You mean in NS1 which the ruzzia stopped sending gas thru in August, claiming that a compression generator was rusted and only a removal of sanctions could fix? You surely don't mean NS2 which was never active?

Russian economic complex loses the most leverage. Delineating the beneficiaries is a little complex. Lots of corporations and nations can benefit from the suffering of the European peoples from their decadent hubris/cowardice/impotence.
