People seemingly always forget in which direction walls and fences "work".

There was a lot of proof with the "Iron Curtain" still up and running, but seemingly most human beings have a very short span for which they can hold information in their memories.

Walls aren't able to stop migration. Maybe the can stop wars or invasions from happening, who actually knows.
