Biden's Student Debt Plan Is an Appalling Burden on the Poor. It's appalling to ask the average American worker, who is struggling to afford groceries and gas, to subsidize the college debt for those making six figures. It’s even more astonishing during the worst inflation in half a century.

Oh, poor people won't pay for it. Poor people don't pay federal or state income taxes. But? The Inflation Reduction act does tax Billionaires. In fact, after everything in the Law is paid for, that leaves about $350 Billion surplus, more than enough to pay for the Student Loan Forgiveness. So yeah, Billionaires paid for it. And it won't hurt them at all or change their lives in any way. Other than a number in their account.
