Fascists always call their opponents' supporters fascists.

A key clue to fascism is blanket attacking a whole group for disagreeing with you.

Yes. "Enemies lists" are a nice and very clear signpost of fascism.

This is why the debate right now is so off the rails. Both sides have "enemies lists". One point in favor of the MAGA camp, however, is that their evidence against their "enemies" is WAY more solid than the evidence the establishment is claiming against them. It's not even close. Also, it looks to me (not in MAGA or establishment) as though the "enemies list" of the MAGA movement is much more contained and targeted than that of the establishment, which now includes literally millions of people.

Enemy lists are not so much signs of fascism, painting groups of people with a broad brush is. Having targeted specific grievance with people and their specific actions is normal. Associating half of the country with someone you don't like, then calling them all racist or fascis....now that is pure fascism and why the whole "deplorables" Hillary gaff went down in history as the fascist and most bone head political move to happen in a long time. Biden just repeated Hillary's huge campaign mistake that had been lauded as a terrible thing ever since.

You're making a very subtle distinction here. Personally I don't think the first ever exists without automatic escalation to the second.

Well, it just means gov. and corporate collusion controlling the lives of the people, and we have plenty of evidence what side that is.

Fascism and communism are just different pretexts for authoritarianism. That's why the fascist WEF gets along so well with the Chinese Communist Party. They both aim at a global totalitarian state.

Nice clear statement of an obvious truth. +10.

Breaking news: X party said something mean about Y party. Tis the season for political attacks.

This is the real story:

"What we're seeing now is the beginning or the death knell of an extreme MAGA philosophy.

Joe ain't whistling dixie. Democrats are looking good in the polls now. Total reversal, Republicans fumbled the ball.

Timing and messaging is everything it seems.

The economy improved a little, the dirty tricks of the dems are working, and the Republicans should have waited before tackling abortion laws in an ideal world. Their increased support wasn't from die hard Republicans, but people sick of the Democratic party who don't really hold their exact values.
