Absolute bullshit.

When you invest in a company, you can become what's known as a 'shareholder'. When the company makes a profit and pays its shareholders, you also get your 'share'.

She got a return on her investment at Dream Project Partners Inc. Big fucking deal.

I hope she responds to this dumbass right wing misinformation immediately. She's obviously Georgia's best candidate for governor, so we can expect more baseless, idiotic attacks like this.

She went from earning 100k a year to being a multi-millionaire in Congress.

I'm a shareholder. Guess my millions are right around the corner.

right wing misinformation

This isn't a partisan problem, our congress critters enriching themselves in public service is a serious problem for everyone and it happens on both sides.

She went from earning 100k a year to being a multi-millionaire in Congress.

You are definitely getting stupider, exponentially in recent months. Go to an AA meeting ffs.

1) She's not and has never been in the US Congress

2) Abrams is facing a very expensive Republican misinformation campaign because they are terrified that any Democrat would unseat one of the corrupt corporate gimps in the Repuglican party.

3) Politicians earn money. This is how they put food on the table.

4) She wrote New York Times best seller books ‘Our Time Is Now’ and ‘Lead from the Outside’, which earned a couple million. Fox didn't tell you that because they didn't want your tiny head to explode.

5) Stop being an idiot.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (18 children)

Georgia politican, sorry. You're being very rude about a simple mistake on my part, should have written politician instead of congress critter.

You're a trash human being.

[–]bootylicious 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (17 children)

You're always rude to me. Suck it up.

It was not a simple mistake. And you're assuming she's earning millions in corrupt deals, when we know exactly the origin of the income, partially because SHE FUCKING DECLARED IT.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (16 children)

You should read the book club book, The Mass Psychology of Fascism, the author is this psuedo-intellectual pervert who argues people should want to be left-wing, Marxist, but for a number of reasons, but essentially because they're too dumb, they instead go right, fascism. The sicko died in prison for selling orgone accumulators, faraday cages you were supposed to fuck in.

Reminded me of you, like someone you want to take the opposite opinion of. This guy makes fascism sound appealing.

SHE FUCKING DECLARED IT.

It's suss, that's how you pay someone off so it looks legit.

[–]bootylicious 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (15 children)

You have the fucking memory of a goldfish. And you really are writing dumber, schizo comments. Listen to the people around you, to your partner, to your parents, anyone else. You are fucking up your life, and more recently you are parroting the bullshit you read on Saidit. You're deteriorating. And you've seemingly forgotten your own attacks on me, thereby being surprised when you get a similar response back to your dumb comments.

It took me 2 minutes to Google the informatoin about Abrams. You too can locate the same information in an instant. Attack Pelosi if you want. She deserves a boot out of Congress. But Georgia literally needs a decent person like Abrams to represent them, after the recent string of absolutely insane clown show assholes elected to office in that corrupt AF state. So cut the crap. Nothing 'sus' about telling you or any of these other fuckers what's up.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (14 children)

I just thought she was a former representative for Georgia in Congress rather than at the state level. Calm your tits, bitch boy.

[–]bootylicious 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (13 children)

It's obviously a mistake to respond to you. You'll forget comments like this one:

She went from earning 100k a year to being a multi-millionaire

The implication here is obvious - that she earned 3 million in some corrupt manner, which is not what happened. If you complete the sentence noting that she earned 3 million with 2 book deals, then you prove that there is NOTHING to discuss. And you can't bother to look up any of this. You're stupidly joining the anti-democratic bandwagon.

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (12 children)

Why does anyone want to read a book by Stacey Abrams? As I said, talk about a goldfish's memory, this is how you pay off politicians so it doesn't look like they're being paid off. You don't hand them a suitcase full of cash, they get book deals and speakers fees, cushy stock options.

It's not just your retarded party either, DeSantis sure made big bucks in office.

[–]TaseAFeminist4Jesus 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (10 children)

You're describing a dividend. Abrams was paid a salary. That's a completely different thing.

She will not be able to respond to this in any meaningful way. I don't know that it will hurt her. Stacy's as obvious a product of the "quiet racism of low expectations" as you'll ever find.

[–]bootylicious 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (9 children)

You'll also know that $150k is nothing for that kind of work. The assholes pushing this nothingburger GOP propaganda are making 10s of millions, sending it straight to their offshore acounts.(which were discovered a few years ago - lots of politicians on those leaked documents). Why aren't we concerned about those offshore accounts? Politicians also get $250k+ for lectures and advice. The Bill Clinton made millions after his presidency doing just that. Georgia's current congresspeople are hidiously corrupt. There are no flies on Abrams. Evidence for this is obviously the lame ass claim that a $150 payment from 'Dream Project Partners Inc.' (whatever the fuck hey are) is somehow a big deal. It's literally nothing. Contrast that with the $2 billion J Kushner received from Saudi Arabia as soon as he managed to magically get top level security clearance. He and Trump should be hanged for espionage. Americans should be outraged and protesting at their houses, throwing molotov cocktails. Anything to address the ongoing corruption on the Hill.

I don't know what kind of work if any she did for that money, but in any case government- particularly state and local government- just runs better under right-wingers. The black Democrats that get elected in Georgia are just terrible.

Look at Hank Johnson, who worried that Guam might tip over if we sent more sailors there. Thanks to the miracle of universal enfranchisement, this guy is my Congressman. His most recent initiative has been to make rap lyrics inadmissible in court. That's horseshit. There's a violent crime epidemic, and we're throwing an assist to a bunch of fucking thugs?

Look at what was done to Druid Hills High School. The black members of the school board just refused to renovate it because it's more white than other high schools. Ha ha, we'll make whitey's kids run around during shit during recess.

Both of these examples are from the last 2-3 months. I didn't have to google this. It's right in our faces, right now.

These people cannot be trusted. They are 100% tribal in their mentality and will ruin anything they're allowed to. I fully support any effort to dilute the influence of their natural constituency by any legal means- gerrymandering, the electoral college, intervention by the (still Republican) state government.

That last thing (intervention by the State of Georgia) is what finally got Druid Hills High School a fair deal, and it's mind-boggling that this is even an issue. Druid Hills High School ought to be one of the crown jewels of that school system, but those retards (and I mean that quite literally) are so caught up in racist bullshit that they'd throw that away.

Again- tribal. They are NOT people we want anywhere near the ballot box.

And remember what America was really like under Trump. Why are there bums everywhere now? Why is everything so expensive? It's just a coincidence that things were better under Republicans? Bullshit!

You'd love the sub, /s/debatealtright . They never tire of writing mini essays claiming that the dark color of skin of a person defines that person as an asshole. Your arguments here depend entirely on: school board members who are black are assholes, when you know very well that assholes come in all colors, shapes, sizes and ages. And there are plenty of non-blacks on school boards who are exceptional assholes, that are tribal, that want taxpayer money to pay for charter schools, that want to require prayer and the 10 commandements in grade schools, that are literally the American ISIS or American Taliban. There is absolutely nothing redeemable about the users at /s/debatealtright . They're quite tibal, with pointy hats, white sheets and masks. Republicans also love them. Their Christo-fascist solution would genocide billions.

These white people you think are villains are simply trying to preserve their culture. The fact that we are even able to discuss these things is a product of that culture.

The black people who oppose them have no culture. We destroyed it, because their ancestors were trapped in the Hobbesian state of war and their children deserved better.

White people who deny these things typically have deep-seated psychological issues, often involving misplaced resentment and hostility secondary to their own failures. You need to accept that it's not your dad's fault you're mediocre, and it's OK. But you must participate in decent, Occidental society or you are, frankly, a damned sinning idiot.

[–]bootylicious 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

These white people you think are villains are simply trying to preserve their culture.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to ethnically disconnect so-called "white" people from so-called non-whites in the US. It's all one culture. CULTURE is not the word you want to use. You are arguing for ethnic DNA testing, so that the "white" descendent of Thomas Jefferson who's great great great... grandmother was black can be excluded from the DNA proven melanin deficient "white" assholes who think they're different. The fact is, everyone is somewhat mixed. This discussion at DAR usually descends into being racist about fewer and fewer people, until one ends up at Sub-Saharan Africa. All of the groups considered non-wite that are not Sub-Saraharan are excluded eventually from the usual "who is white" dialectic. It's REALLY FUCKING STUPID, not to mention MEAN to one's fellow man and in violation of the golden rule. If you don't like blacks, just say so. So-called "whites" cannot claim to have an exclusive 'culture' or 'ethnicity'. Eugenics failed in the early 20 century and won't return for reasonable people. That said, there are some who want to be pure Hebrews, or pure Japanese, or pure Native American, or whatever. But even in these groups there are exceptions for the relative who fucked someone of a different ethnicity.

I don't see what's so shameful about supporting the political candidates and political outcomes that I sincerely think will maximize everyone's safety and happiness. This thread is about Stacy Abrams, who you seem to think would make a great Governor. My honest assessment is that she comes from a black, Democratic political movement that just hasn't produced good politicians in Georgia.

I'm sorry if that hurts your feelings, but there are real problems to be dealt with here- children to be educated, roads to be maintained, public safety and vagrancy issues, etc. This is not some abstract contest over who can be the kindest or most virtuous.

None of this has anything to do with whether or not I like black people. I do, but even if I didn't I would want the best for the neighborhood, city, and state we share. Supporting a bunch of scalawags and low-rent grifters who happen to be black is no way to show love to black people.

What possible reason other than "feelings" could there be for voting for people who you know will just fuck everything up?
