I do believe name calling is not productive. I try to be polite and well-mannered as much as I can. I have not yet been in a situation where I was accosted. I hope I will not be accosted.

I do not take offence to this statement, considering the context. Even without context, I shan't be too offended as the medium as to which this message was relayed, the internet, is usually a place where these kinds of things happen.
Thus, I am more pleased that I am in observance of a traditional internet action.
In public? That is an entirely different story.
