Despite all the arm-twisting from govt, employers, and media, only 48% of eligible Americans have gotten boosted. The majority—over 100 million—have refused. Another 107 million remain unvaccinated. So more than 207 million Americans, about two thirds of the total population, are now “anti-vaxxers.”

    That's because many companies require the initial "full vaccination" as a condition of employment, but do not require boosters. If given a choice, many Americans would have preferred to not be "fully vaccinated".

          I agree with you. It's obvious fear of losing ones job. Few people care about COVID in reality. Since restrictions have been lifted here I've been to dozens of high capacity events, nobody wears masks, everyone just wants to go back to normal. Complacency and self preservation tend to take priority over protection of others.
