Democracy has nothing to do with it. We were a democracy when slavery was legal, I hate the way people use Democracy like some kind of sacred word.

Yep, pure democracy is just the tyranny of the majority. Two wolves and a sheep voting on what's for dinner.

Israel is the most apartheid state in the world today. If you ain't a jew you ain't really welcome.

Hardly the most apartheid then.

That's how most countries in the region are for Muslims.

Israel may be a democracy - which I doubt - but it is also attacking Palestine and sucking the life out of the US and Europe. Israel is also an apartheid state.

Democracy means "ruled by the people". If most of the people eligible to vote are in favour of apartheid, then it is possible for a democratic country to be an apartheid state. If the majority of voters are authoritarian, then the country can be both democratic and authoritarian.

Yep, Absolutely, and if you spend enough on propaganda, the majority of people will go along with just about anything, as history has shown repeatedly. Weimar Germany under Hitler was a Democracy. You could say that his use of Emergency Powers was undemocratic, but then you would have to say that Canada and the US are not really democracies either, as they used these same powers to do vaccine passports

Exactly. Democracy does not equal freedom. As long as most people go along with tyranny, the democratic government will enforce tyranny.

You can say that the elections in Nazi Germany were rigged. Which is true. Then again, elections in America have been rigged for a long time, especially against third parties. And in some democracies like the UK or modern Germany, some political parties have been banned. A lot of democratic countries have frozen bank accounts or locked people up for years just for saying things the democratic governments don’t like. End result, it doesn’t make any odds to me if a country is democratic. What matters to me is now free that country is. In fact, I think that democracy is a threat to liberty and personal freedom.

You are absolutely right. What protects the liberty and freedom we still have is the Constitution. This is decidedly undemocratic, it says it doesnt matter if the people democratically decide they want to make a law restricting my rights - they still can't do it (or it's at least harder to change than laws)

Universal suffrage is dangerous. The best people get positions based on merit. Not by a glorified popularity contest, which is what elections essentially are.

Look at the elite's "1984" Newspeak vocabulary going on. In their minds, "democracy" is a sacred word meaning "good" (but really meaning "on our side"). You'll see them use it like this all the time. If it is good, it is on our side, and therefore a democracy. Like how they renamed Al-Nusra in Syria (which is Al-Qaeda), the "Syrian Democratic Forces" or SDF. Naturally they've no interest in democracy but once you know the Newspeak definition it makes perfect sense.

Can we just force him to be honest? There's nothing from with being an apartheid state, so long as it have open boarders to leave and help financing for whatever the larger society is protecting itself against. Just be freaking honest about it.
