Non-binary is essentially a fashion fad like emo or goth, or any of the other quasi-androgenous youth fashion fads that have existed. Adopting it as an integral part of ones identify and draping oneself with pronouns is no different than adorning oneself with various bobbles or jewelry as part of the mechanism that the less desirable members of the species use to attract a mate.

As complicated as human courtship rituals are they have a definite trend towards adopting and diffusing that which is considered novel. Once the fashion in question becomes stale another will be chosen. Human populations typically undulate between extreme hedonistic displays of courtship and extreme spiritualistic religious displays of courtship. This is driven by the females adjusting their mate selection criteria to be more selective following the male adjustment to the precious paradigm.

It's way more than that though. Woke-ism has roots in postmodernism and off-shoots of marxism. The recent trend to change language, and muddy the definitions comes from the foundations of the ideology that everything is a power game and there is no objective truth. It's a kind of dogma that is metaphorically like cancer, infecting people with its viral ideas which then go on to destroy everything it touches.

"non-binary" exists for the purpose of infecting and destroying the already established terms and concepts about sex and biology, of course with none of the evidence and only through silencing people and emotional blackmail. It's fragile and quickly crumbles under simple logical questioning (but since most people don't grasp philosophical concepts like truth, they get easily fooled). Unfortunately it has captured the minds of many people, many who are young, but this is far more than a trend and more closer to a new "state religion" (i.e. communism, fascism, woke-ism).

If everything is a power game and there is no objective truth then it's true that everything is not a power game and there is objective truth. And that the belief in no-objectice truth is itself a power-game, as the power to decide truth is power indeed.

The issue with trying to link everything together like this is it becomes far to big for any one person to comprehend and therefore, your brain will attempt to make links and relationships where they may or may not exist.

What we see now is simply the natural progression that any unrestricted profit driven capitalistic system will eventually seek for what are essentially fads, and that's to market them extensibly and make lots of money. Wanna get non-binary affirmation surgery? There's a clinic for that, wanna buy a non-binary flag shirt, wanna change your whole identity again and buy a new shirt, why not. Buy and consume. Your identity is heavily influenced not by Marxist thinking, but by advertisements.

LGBTQIA+ is a hot market. Young, single, no dependents, educated, loads of disposable income. Easy to market to. Radicalized rabid consumers that will flock towards your company if you market to them right, rainbow flags, two second gay inclusion character, they eat that shit up and SPEND SPEND SPEND. More than the hard core Christians ever did on WWJD bracelets and honk if you love Jesus bumper stickers.

There is no new state religion, it's the same as it has been for decades. Consumption.

Sure I would agree, but good luck convincing the wokists. This argument itself would be seen as illegitimate if they think you are an oppressor. It's really a way to dominate any and every conversation with whatever they want. It's a justification they use as a thin veil to fool regular people who don't think too deep about this.

I hope you're right, but you are missing how much this has crept into government. We have several politicians on the left now holding these ideas. Companies love it precisely because it's looking like half of the politicians are onboard, and they all think this is the only ethical future. Which means this may not stop at just fashion or marketing but rather something that infects everyone alike, young and old, workers, CEOs, politicians. It's a mind virus and so far it has captured half of society at least, because it exploits the weak minds of the masses.
