Oh is this your first time learning about the US military? Have fun, one of my favourite bits is, that they the world's first, second and third largest air forces. And any of those planes might be given to the freedom fighters of Ukraine! Twenty year occupation of a landlocked mountainous country on the other side of the planet. (Most of that time with almost no popular will powering the military machine). With a fraction of the casualties of just the few months war in Ukraine already. Yeah it ought to worry the Russians. Lend lease has already passed - this can drift out of American focus and the states will still be sending a trillion dollars in weaponry just on autopilot. And it will take political will to revoke - just like the embargo of Cuba. Yeah it ought to worry the Russians.

They maintained a 20 year occupation of a landlocked country in the mountains with no political will behind them. They did pretty well. And Ukraine will do a lot better on their home turf
