Her comments were about the improvement of approaches to RvW, NOT a rejection of it. The writer is trying to spin her comments in a direction that is absolutely false. In any lecture on that subject one discusses the potential difficulties of the law. She was absolutely in favor of the principle of RvW, as you can read in her comments and concerns for strategies and methods for its approval.
