The picture of prisoners shows a mix of Han Chinese and Uyghur prisoners. The guards and police are Uyghurs themselves.

If you look closely and compare images, the BBC pictures with police officers carrying batons next to the Uyghurs taking portrait photos are photoshopped.

Pictures at the bottom show their photos with a girl with a name tag standing next to them, who's not a police officer but just some random employee. Someone should translate her name tag.

Not sure what narrative you can slap on based on these pictures.
