    It is but in West Africa you have to worry about random crazy violence like a machete band randomly coming through in the middle of the night and killing a whole village or an Islamic cult kidnapping a whole school of kids to rape. And of course rape is pretty much legalised because they believe in "sexual emergencies".

    But mostly it's safer than black areas in the US with less property crime, drugs and more community support.

    I don't think there's much property anyway in the first place.
