Our sanctions against Venezuela after Maduro's election are equally responsible for the current economic disaster. So called 'socialist' economic policies seem to work much better in Scandinavian countries that aren't subject to wholesale NATO economic sanctions for adopting said policies like every South American country that has ever attempted extricate themselves from the US economic empire by means of socialism
