Yeah, this isn't the red flag you think it is. If they were planning something, they wouldn't publish it and would work behind the scenes like the US did with COVID.

Improving the detection of a virus through an already existing detection system in a virology lab isn't exactly farfetched, especially for a virus that was already reported to be breaking out before COVID-19.

Couldn't find previous studies by WIV. If anything, they're late to the game.

The monkeypox outbreak isn't recent, the COVID-19 pandemic just interrupted MSM reports on it.

Pre-pandemic narratives (Oct'19-Dec'19) were divergent across regions with Africa focused on monkeypox, Asia on dengue fever, and North America on Lyme disease and AIDS.

Their goal was to study misinformation on "circulating contagious disease" in 2019 and one of them was monkeypox. Then they suggested strategies to counter "misinformation". Look at who suggested they use monkeypox in their paper in the acknowledgement section. A government associated academic, James Rubin:

During the COVID-19 pandemic, James was a regular participant in the UK Government’s Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies.

I just know with the history of biological warfare and experiments that it is hard for most people to tell nowadays what is what.

Seems like it is irresponsible to rule out Disaster Capitalism type Shock Doctrine political tactics anymore especially after reading the book by Naomi Klein and studying historical events like Operation Gladio and the Strategy of Tension.

The general public love to absorb the bullshite spewed by the media every few years, from one exaggerated disaster to another.
