When you bring everyone around you down, your average goes up! It's kinda brilliant when you think about it. If every place is a violent, murderous shit hole then all of the sudden Chicago isn't so bad!

My mom told me when I was a little kid... People are exactly like a barrel full of crabs. One crab tries to crawl out and escape... The other crabs dragging back in. Status quo baby. There are more violent cities with higher crime and murder rates than Chicago. People harp about Chicago because it's a lazy talking point conservatives started using once Obama became President.

Well, the article is about Chicago which is the 20th most violent city in the US but it jumps up the the 10th most murderous city. So, your statement is technically correct about other violent cities, it's still a shooting gallery in the Windy City.

I'm sure it's an oversight... But you didn't include the list of these cities and places or where you're getting your information from (you know documents that kind of thing...) I'm sure you'll respond shortly with that list and the sources....shlong. (or whatever you said...)
