Isn’t that what men do?

That's what animals do. Men should love their wives and be faithful to them. Trump is married, and he claimed to be a Christian. But adultery is a sin, according to the Bible.

I’m not married.

I understand your point about trump.

And yea, I think randomly hooking up is pretty carnal or animal like.

I appreciate your reply. When I was unmarried, I was carnal at times, and sinned. Fornication is also a sin, according to the Bible, but I did not believe in God and ignored the Bible. But I have since realized my great error, now I believe what Jesus taught must be the truth since no other explanation answers life's questions, and so I repented. I turned away from that carnal nature. I am married now, and am staying faithful to my wife. Many of my problems in life could have been avoided if I would have listened to Jesus and kept his good commandments.

Have a good day, my friend.

Thanks for sharing. I have been considering church recently.

Beware of the churches of men. Most of them are corrupt, working for filthy money and for the praise of men, to be seen in public, for status. Many religious leaders are hypocrites, preaching one thing, and doing another.

There are some good pastors left, but they are rare and hard to find.

My suggestion: ask questions privately in your heart. You could voice them with your mouth, but that is not necessary. God will hear you. He always hears you. And he will answer you if you sincerely ask. Ask anything and see how he answers. You will be surprised how he answers, if you are sincere.

When I first believed in God again as an adult, I began to wonder if I got deceived. I stood outside at night and clenched my fists, looking up at the stars, thinking I might stop believing again. But then I saw a shooting star. That pacified me for a moment, but then I began to panic again, thinking I might slip back into unbelief. Something like a giant bat flew past me. I heard it flapping its wings, but when I focused my eyes on it, it disappeared. It was as if part of the spiritual realm became visible to me for that short moment. I think the dark forces were at war with the holy angels for my soul. Finally, I heard a peaceful woman's voice singing in the woods behind my house accompanied by a stringed instrument. It was soothing, but as I directed my attention to it, it stopped. I wondered if it was an angel trying to calm me, but without compelling me to believe.

So I went to bed that night deciding I would continue to believe in Jesus and continue to seek him and learn from him. The Bible has his teachings in it. I am so glad I have stayed with him and he has given me other experiences since that help me believe there is a spiritual realm, another world, not visible by our physical eyes.
