There are two separate goals.

One, stop the violence, save lives and promote peace. Diplomacy and discovering a sustainable relationship between Russia, Ukraine, and Davos.

Two, crush Russia so that western power can get in again and have access to the resources of both Ukraine and Russia.

While the Russian invasion is not pretty and cannot be considered a "boys will be boys" question, the above two options remain the options for the western response regardless of how one feels about the original invasion. It is 100% clear that the Davos set is hell-bent on option two. Their goal is not peace, and their actions are not designed to bring peace. They want victory and nothing less. Until that perspective changes, they must be considered warmongers just as the Russians.

This is just a long way of saying the statement I have made countless times in the past month: there are no good guys in this scenario.

Treating the "Ukraine" supporters as the shining knight will lead to more death, not less. A negotiated solution is the only way to peace and LESS DEATH. Yet a negotiated solution is not even allowed to be discussed by the mainstream. This is very telling about who the leaders of the "pro-Ukraine" side are. They are pro-Ukrainian military, at whatever cost necessary in both Ukrainian and Russian combatant and civilian life.

These are death merchants, every bit as much as the Russians are on their side.
