He certainly has a point.

A big problem with the left today is that they try to imagine that all prejudice follows the same dynamics as the holocaust.

The Frankfurt school was literally a bunch of guys trying to work out why the holocaust happened.

While most left wing thought before then concentrated on the idea that a minority of rich and powerful people oppressed everyone else they explained oppression as the privileged majority oppressing minorities.

Killed class solidarity for generations and what's more it's and ideology which needs the majority to be prejudiced to work. When racism or homophobia are in short supply they have to start inventing it.
