Some of them might not have taken the lethal injection and others might survive. In any case it is important to establish some kind of legal precedent for dealing with this kind of thing.

When the vaccine house of cards comes down I for one am interested in identifying the guilty and shaming them in the public eye. After that I'm not interested in them anymore. Let societal fallout deal with them.

Does this thinking apply to other criminals as well? It would be really weird if you went to prison just for killing a few people when those who killed millions were dealt with by "societal fallout".

Where I live "societal fallout" might mean extra-judicial execution that the authorities ignore as soon as they dispose of the body.
