Preach Trident! I was in the leftist camp for a while, and this is what has made me an ex-democrat. My body my right is something I believe in, I am skeptical that killing an unborn child is really consistent with that -, but I kinda just went along with it tbh.

However, when all the "My Body My Right" leftists suddenly wanted to force me to have a vaccine that doesn't even protect others, this was the last straw. I am absolutely furious at the hypocrisy and having been gaslit like this.

I don't know how I feel about abortion anymore to be honest with you, but there are people like me who were on the left that have been alienated by this, and are rethinking their positions.

Welcome to the world of independent thought. I look forward to our future arguments.

Bad branding really. Sounds kind of awkward and nonsensical. No one's banning their bodies over abortion. Although the same Covid messaging also applies to this.

Not wearing a mask? Don't get the jab? Your body is literally banned from many leftist establishments. Opps.

there is literally no 'good' way to spin dumb shit like this

I hadn't heard of this slogan. I see it was started by planned parenthood in June 2019. You're right it seems they changed it because "my body my choice" would mean not having to get a vaccine. I bet planned parenthood was tipped off in June 2019 that covid was coming and they'd need to be anti choice from now on. Or maybe they were just mad how people kept pointing out the baby didn't have a choice about their body being killed.

in June 2019

Now that is quite interesting. It's almost as if the entire "covid pandemic" was planned in advance while governments and corporations laid the framework by changing messaging and laws accordingly. Kinda like some world forem of elites planned and implemented it in order to create a single world government ruled by themselves.

Nah, that's just a wild conspiracy touted by evil, racist conspiracy theorists. I know because the government and mainstream media tole me so!

On September 12, 2018, the organization announced that Leana Wen would take over as president, effective November 2018.[44] Wen was removed as president of Planned Parenthood by the organization's board of directors on July 16, 2019. Alexis McGill Johnson, a board member and former chairwoman, became the organization's acting president.[45]

I wonder why Wen was forced to step down, maybe she didn't want to go along with what they had planned. McGill Johnson is married to a Soros connected banker.

Holy shit, this is the doctor CNN has on almost everyday spewing misinformation. This is really a good conspiracy theory here, I had not thought of the Pro-Choice hypocrisy as part of this. There does appear to be a premeditated decision to stay away from the choice message at a really coincidental time...And Leana Wen is balls deep in the propaganda as well as Planned Parenthood..

I didn't know she was on CNN. I guess that means it can't be true that she wouldn't go along with anti choice policies, must have gotten the boot for some other reason. Maybe even though they were changing their motto she felt the planned parenthood orgnization was still to involved in being pro choice in their history so she had to leave it in order to devote her time fully to CNN prpaganda.

Yeah , I don't know exactly whats going on here, but the coincidences have me strapping on my tinfoil hat for sure

people will deny it, but men only support abortion because they think it will lead to women having sex with them more. When they find it doesn't they become anti abortion.

Hmm I haven't heard that one. But I can see them saying some silly crap like "bans off our bodies". I'm personally pro choice for both vax and abortion. Your body , not my business lol. I get in the arguments about that now days with "leftist". I hate calling them leftist since I always thought leftist were supposed to be anti authority. I just call em bootlickers.

Really if someone was going to say "bans off our bodies", I would argue that my body is being banned from entering their establishment due to my choice of turning down a experimental medical procedure. That is still a body ban right? They can say what ever stupid saying they want, they lack logic and facts. They cannot win their stupid pro authoritarian argument.

"My body my choice" is carved into the left psyche.
It's also a legit argument, and every unborn baby "body" deserves a choice, as well.

Dismantle the "bans off our bodies", by correcting it with "your body, THEIR CHOICE".

Nobody wants to sign up for that shit.

Or suggest something like...

"'Bans off our bodies', huh?
That sounds like an argument for organ harvesting...
That policy didn't work out so well for Chinese political dissidents.
