Sounds like the pandemic is over, the US can't continue unless this turns out badly for Britain. Australia is doing it too. Only a matter of time before the US and Canada follow suit.

Let's hope. Recently while watching Bloomberg (on TV) I saw a multi-part segment on the question - "is the pandemic on track to become an epidemic soon?" Three times during the evening they asked different virologists (in different countries) this question, none of whom thought the pandemic would downgrade anytime soon, as there are expected to be other strains this year, when one considers the developments of strains in other countries and how they've easily spread to countries with lax COVID restrictions (eg. the US hasn't required testing after flights, as have some of the European countries). The Bloomberg reporter seemingly wanted the virologists to answer positively, as she asked the same question in several ways. So at the moment investors watching Bloomberg will likely expect the pandemic to continue in some form through at least the 4th quarter.
