The pretrial detention figures are tragic. People's lives crash when they're locked away.

Nothing improves for anyone.

It reminds me of a particular black slave owner who excessively whipped his slaves, and even made the other slave owners cringe.

I'm really hoping this unexpected wave of judges aren't neo-Bolsheviks.

People's lives crash when they're locked away.

Not when they are young people who have never hit a boundary or faced the consequences of their actions their whole lives so far. Then getting locked up is often just what they need to face reality and turn their lives around.

That has no relevance to this. Just snide racism, like comparing Israel to Nazis with no real comparison.

Israel and Germany aren't comparable.

In this case, both are black on black injustice.
Both are extreme examples relative to the norm.

It's relevant.
