The Global Respect Act passed the House, March 2022. Although the gov bill assessment suggests only a 20% chance of passing the Senate, the open-to-interpretation language and expansion of presidential powers are terrifying. Truly dangerous legislation sponsored by Representative David Cicilline (RI).
