Stanley was raised in upstate New York.[5] Both of his parents emigrated to the United States from Europe—his father from Germany in 1939, and his mother from Poland. Stanley cites his Jewish heritage as having informed his writing on fascism: "To me, my Judaism means an obligation to pay attention to equality and the rights of minority groups."[5]

Thanks. I often say on Saidit much of what he's saying, but I am not Jewish, nor do I support the current government of Israel, which in my view (and in the view of many Jewish friends and colleagues) has turned in a fascist direction. You might remember Stephen Miller, as well as the Jared Kushner/Trump crime family. These are the kinds of people Stanley speaks against.
