that's a political thing not a criminal charge thing. Even if they voted on that in the senate too and he was removed from office it didn't mean he'd go to jail.

Treason is illegal, and Twittler was guilty of it many times over, two of which so noteworthy that he was impeached for them

wasn't treason, if it was show me where he was tried and convicted of it

Impeachment is a form of trial. The GOP were not going to allow a conviction, obviously because the GOP are corrupt.
