that'd be like withdrawing from the union, seceding the whole state. Military would wage total war on florida the next day. Not exaggerating.

I think propaganda and economic retaliation are far more likely.

Yes, yes it is. People are quick to follow orders once money is involved.

The US military is overwhelmingly "red" and southern and that "red" is politics as well as neck. Florida has zero worries. Soldiers are not going to shoot their own families.

people probably thought that in 1861 too, but really they're brainwashed in boot camp to follow orders. Some thought that Trump got the election stolen and troops would join them on Jan 6 too.

The south was attacked by northern troops, not southern troops. The southern troops left the US Army and enlisted in the CSA. They did it once. They will do it again.

yeah the problem was just the north had way more troops. So we're talking about florida which is in the south. Who would fight for them, just the young men of florida, would other southern states join to support Florida, would they then just get killed in a war once again by the north? Is the military really overwhelmingly "red" and southern, or do they just follow orders? So far for decades now, more than a century, they just follow orders on all sorts of illegal wars that are against their best interest.

Shooting Ahab the Arab is a world away from shooting an America family. Soldiers know what an unlawful order is. Especially at home.

I just highly doubt it. This is about florida "may" withdraw from OSHA which is a federal agency and we have from precedent of the civil war that no state may withdraw from the fed govt because if they do, by the barrel of a gun they get their shit kicked in. This is really no different a fantasy than Q theories. The military is brainwashed and is not going to save us, the main reason we need gun rights is so that the military has a hard time of taking our rights away, it's private citizens, who were too smart to sign up for illegal wars, who will save us, if anyone will. Militias and such. Guerilla warfare among a large area of land in the USA is why it would be hard for the military to control us.

lol, that's some keyboard warrior, he-man fantasy there. All the federal government has to do is withhold federal funds for the state of Florida and Florida will do what it's told to do when it comes to the mandate.

guess you missed the reference to something that actually happened in reality

Texas tried to get rid of the TSA over gate rape but they were threatened with a federal no fly zone and backed down.

The irony. Florida, are least for the moment, is the new Texas. Floridians demand freedom, while Texans demand govt bailed and federal aid.
