There's only one union that is protesting the vaccine mandate. The police.

Five police were killed by covid for every one killed by gunfire since the start of the pandemic. The fact that they're protesting against taking the vaccine shows that they're not interested in blue lives after all.

that just goes to show how little police are killed by gunfire. also that shit articles statistics are nationwide, not just NYC. also, anyone with half a brain knows the numbers are bullshit anyway. as usual, you completely and utterly fail in threads like this.

it's super rare for a cop to either die by getting shot or to die by covid. So why worry about either. What is the number one way cops die? Probably heart disease, which a vaccine will make worse.

Here are some of those who have died from COVID. It's small, but its significant to their families, and possibly colleagues, (although that's not obvious from the protests).

In the line of duty deaths in 2021 were 65% CoVID-19, then 13.3% Gunfire.

The next largest killers were automobile crash and vehicular assault both at 4.4%
