30 years ago it would have been a gang rape instead of just one guy doing it, like the central park 5 did (more were in on it like 30 teens).

What's your version of the Central Park 5? There was a semi-famous case in my area where a man was let out of prison, deemed not guilty, and given a lot of money for being convicted of rape and murder two decades prior. Those in law enforcement who have first hand knowledge of the case say that he was definitely guilty.

those 5 plus many others gang raped a woman. Giving her brain damage so she didn't remember it happening so she couldn't say who did it to her. About 30 teens did it, they had all been attacking other people in central park around that time, roving in gangs. The 5 were the only ones they had evidence on so they were the only ones that got arrested. Years later a different guy who was already in jail for a different rape confessed to it. That shouldn't mean the other central park 5 weren't guilty, plus many other that just got away with it. They found that guy's DNA in the evidence of what was collected from the woman, that doesn't mean the others either didn't cum in her or they did but the evidence got mixed up in all of the 30 people and also DNA collecting wasn't an exact science back then.

I remember how as a little kid there would be a fight and everyone would get around them in a circle to watch. I think it's instinctual.
