Regardless, that ain't even my premise; my premise revolves around electoral votes and House seats.

I would care about gerrymandering then. I mean everyone should anyways, but especially more than abortion if this is a key issue.

Or skip the issue altogether and move to a more sensible form of voting. Duels to the death. Televise it, it'll make great ratings.

There's increasingly less Conservatives — especially in positions of power — and most of those who remain are obsessed with economic Libertarianism, at the expense of social Conservatism.

In very broad terms Liberalism is idealistic, conservatism is more realistic. Youth is idealistic. Although it's also not uncommon for conservative children to swap either, just there's more young liberals.

I'm not an anything. I used to be a long time democrat. I consider myself an independent because I don't agree fully agree with any one party anymore. There's parts of Libertarianism I like. People should be free to do as they wish as long as it doesn't infringe upon other's rights. There's parts of Democrats I like, we should care for those who can't care for themselves, the compassion there, and there's parts of Conservatism I like, the realism.

But despite being a lifelong liberal until fairly recently, it's hard not to notice that the news is dominated by black males committing crimes as long as I have been alive. That's simple realism, not racism. The articles desperately try to avoid saying "black male commits yet another crime" these days. It's kind of funny the lengths they go to in order to avoid pointing out the obvious.
