McGowan isn't the most stable of individuals. I wouldn't take her word for anything.

That's what we learned when Joe Biden was credibly accused of rape. Likewise with this woman, who founded the #metoo movement.

Oh, she more than likely was telling the truth about Weinstein, but that doesn't mean she isn't also a nutcase. Same with the woman who accused Biden. Listen to any recent interviews with McGowan to get a sense of what she's really like.

There is a theory that serial abusers purposely target unreliable people to attack as they know they won't be believed.

That's an interesting theory. I imagine rapists target prostitutes, homeless women, and drug addicts more often than normal women for similar reasons. It's a tough world out there. Gotta always be on your guard.
