Where's the "privilege"?

a special right, advantage, or immunity granted or available only to a particular person or group of people: education is a right, not a privilege | he has been accustomed all his life to wealth and privilege.

I fail to see the privilege in the article. All I see is hypocrisy, two democratic mayors and a democratic speaker of the house have violated the mask mandate. Do democratic politicians get to violate the mask mandate with no recourse while conservatives who violate the same mandate are thrown in prison? Conservatives sure do love playing the role of the aggrieved victim.

I'll be wearing a mask in public for the rest of my life. First I'll do it to thwart facial recognition. Second I'll do it to piss off all the right people.
