CNN is really a steaming pile these days and nobody likes Creepy Joe, but a turnip would have gotten 81 million votes. Trump has a huge fan base, but even more people dislike him.

Personally I think the GOP is going to beg Trump not to run again, almost anyone can defeat Biden except Trump because of his numerous detractors.

That's exactly why I hope Trump runs again in 2024.

I'd rather a moderate Republican, send a message that the alt left will not be allowed to dominate the Democratic Party if they want the support of more moderate liberals.

There's no such thing as the "altleft". Trump made that up so he can try to lay blame of the Charlottesville violence away from his violent altright followers.

The terms alt left and "intolerant woke" go back to at least 2017, that's the earliest mention of it I've seen but it wasn't from Trump. The group is easily observable on Reddit in numerous subs, r/AgainstHateSubreddits is the most infamous example but they do control some rather large mainstream subs.

81 million Americans voted to oust Trump from the White House. They did not vote for Biden to watch him on CNN. \
