I know three people who got mail-in ballots without requesting them. Well, one person was the mother of someone I knew who had been dead for two years. One of them was 13 or 14 years old. I err on the side of greedy vote-registrars going through phone and address listings, but am open to hear about organized mass fraud if that's where the evidence leads.

In Texas they automatically mail ballots out to you when you hit 65. My father received several.

Why would he receive more than one? Here, you have to request one to receive one, and it has to be the voter or their guardian or a close relative. Even then, the state only mails you one ballot.

We have no idea why. I think he said he got 5, if I am remembering correctly. Not sure multiple votes by a single person would have even counted, I'd hope not.

I don't know, either. That's why I think it's important to find out what went wrong and how so we can fix the system. I do know that when I was the victim of voter fraud, both my in-person vote and their provincial vote counted. I don't understand how their vote got through since it was supposed to be verified and hand tallied. The elections board couldn't give me an answer.
