Seceding is the coward's way out.

YouGov has been founded and run by right-wing influencers, which is why the questions, demographics, and results of their surveys should be read with regard to the political motivations of YouGov. For example, who are the 2,750 U.S. adults who bothered to take the survey? The only people who bother with this tend to be Baby Boomers. Secondly, it's not a surprise that southern Republican Boomers are quite happy to admit that they think the south would be better if it seceded from the union. The survey is not very informative when one considers that it was developed to maximise the potential for click-bait news.

Russia welcomes. But really, why is that a shock? They dislike current government, they want to get out. It's easier than trying to solve issues and spend time on doing something.

ok, do they got nuclear generators in the south? do they got warheads and launch systems in the south?

if yes then yeah, maybe that's civil war #2 but otherwise they'd be daydreaming. republicans have most of the forces but if it's only the geographic south it might be bad.
