Thanks for this link. It's another right-wing website I had not seen, and will list it in /s/Shitpostnews. Jon Miltimore has also developed misinformation at The Imaginative Conservative and The Federalist.

The article is also helpful as a list of tactics by the GOP in a number of red states to restrict health agencies. Deregulating agencies like these are part of a general anti-democratic movement by the GOP, so that corporate bribes will allow corporations to fuck over the 99%. The COVID precautions are not the fault of the health agencies, as there is a much broader movement and rationale for reduction of the spread of COVID19, so that businesses can re-open and people can get back to work. This article is another in a long series of well-funded propaganda by the 1% to confuse the 99% and to screw them financially, all while they continue voting for the corrupt GOP. (Yes, there are corrupt Dems, but not nearly as many as in the GOP.) The health agencies are important for these states, and for the 99%, which is why the GOP are attacking them.

Thank you, coming from you this is a badge of honor.

Partisan politics aside, emergency powers and health orders have been abused over the past year by wannabe tyrant governors and health officials resulting in untold deaths due to treatable diseases being postponed, depression, addiction, lost jobs, permanently closed businesses, and countless other negative effects. The people in these states have said enough is enough and petitioned their representatives to take a stand against these unconstitutional powers, so good on them for following through (even if it's just to retain their position).

An excellent summery; just what we're expected to believe.

Government & science = bad

Karen's comments on anything = good

Governors are known to orgasm when they arrange regulations to restrict the spread of COVID.

Part of the problem here is that there is absolutly no motivation for the government officials and agencies to create additional problems with restrictions. They would naturally want to reduce restrictions as soon as possible. It's embarrasing for others in the US that anyone would assume that the science is wrong and that governors are just being assholes for no legitimate reason. Even the most corrupt of these governors want to reduce restrictions.
