This is a piece by the Associated Press that NPR ran. It is a good example of the writer trying to tell the reader how to feel about the story while holding back certain facts.

It requires voter rolls to be purged of dead voters monthly.

It requires paper back-ups to be kept if electronic voting is used.

Poll watchers can only be removed if they engage in election fraud; not on a Judge's whim.

Election officers are required to listen to poll watchers who flag election irregularities or fraud.

Poll watchers can watch data in the form of paper or digital being sealed for transfer.

It creates a misdemeanor for obstructing a poll watcher or any number of election officials or public office holders.

A voter can only deliver a filled ballot in person during election hours on election day and poll watchers can not interfere; only watch.

If a person is assisting a voter, they have to fill out a report of who they are, how they are associated with the voter, and why they are assisting. If they are assisting at the polling place, they must take an oath administered by an election official.

It is a felony to compensate someone for voting.

Higher penalties for repeat offenders.

Felony for election judges helping to commit voter fraud or changing ballots.

Felony for vote harvesting and clarifies definitions of vote harvesting.

So in other words, lots of meaningless right-wing posturing.

Funny how when a credible (one neutral and one left-wing) source runs a story you think it's them telling readers how to feel (and act like readers have no choice but to comply), but when a non-credible right-wing source runs a made up or out of context story that tells readers how to feel, you're nowhere to be found.

All you had to do was look at my comment history from one day ago so you didn't get caught making false accusations. ONE DAY AGO. Who would spend time making personal attacks on the internet towards strangers who contribute to a website you don't like? I know I wouldn't waste my time unless I was getting paid.
