It's not that big of a win. They can still get baseless FISA warrants for no reason and surveil the wealthiest and most powerful among us. That's them, what do you think they can, will, and have been doing do to us???

Coming up with a warrant to take the guns of individuals they deem as "illegal" in a time where judges decide the length of elections to get the desired outcome isn't hard to do or far fetched.

There's also the fact that all Democrats and most Republicans aren't capable of understanding automatic weapons are already illegal, or require steps above and beyond what the average gun owner is capable or willing to go through to get such weapons. Add on certain adjectives, like "military grade", or "assault" and you can "change" the weapon type and category without even modifying the weapon.

I used to think it's a by-product of schools teaching what to think, instead how to think. But thanks to covid, I totally realized this assessment was incorrect. I see individuals every day going into a clinic to get a vaccine the data says they shouldn't get, or bringing in their children who are double masked to get their covid vaccine whose SAE risk is larger for getting the vaccine than it is getting covid.

No no, all of those people are largely tools of the power structure. Don't take them or their ideas seriously. Mock them. Their ideas are stupid and most of them are incapable of reasoninglg. But more importantly, the reality is you're not going to breakthrough their wall of invincible ignorance.
