I don't understand this attempt to link the Chinese with weaponization of the virus. The Pentagon released a report in 2017 warning of the upcoming cornavirus pandemic. Look it up. If it was a Chinese lab weaponizing the virus, how the hell would the Pentagon know to warn of an upcoming coronvirus pandemic back in 2017?

The chinese were not working on these hybrid coronaviruses in secret. They worked with several American scientists at USC Chapel Hill and others and they got funding directly from the NIH for years. Its right out in the open

I linked two studies above in which American and Chinese scientists at the Wuhan lab collaborated to engineer new SARS like hybrid viruses. You can read that the NIH funded those studies in the studies themselves.

The pentagon and the CDC were talking about a potential coronavirus outbreak because they knew the chinese were studying it for weaponization and so were they.

Why were they working with the Chinese? Fuck if I know. But we know they were.
