The rights laid out in the Bill of Rights are absolute. No fucking exceptions, no matter the excuse.

Because government is magic right?

Reality check: the only way you can have a founding legal document enshrining so many freedoms successfully implemented in a society is when that society is a very high trust society with high cultural and genetic homogeneity. In other words a morally strict culture emphasizing personal responsibility and the people are closely related, therefore behaviorally predictable and invested in each other’s well being.

That is why when we try to implement democracy in the middle east or africa it always fails. You could change the constitution of Zimbabwe to the US constitution, word for word, and it wouldn’t do Zimbabwe one bit of good. Because the success of the Constitution of the US is relative to the population it is applied to.

The Constitution was not written to include other groups, many of whom have 10x the rate of psychopathy as northwest Europeans.

When crime rates are low, you can ensure more “civil liberties” to every suspect. As crime rates go up, society can no longer afford to err on the side of innocence.

Civil liberties are not absolute, they are not universal, not at all. That is a babyish irrational notion. “Government is magic” religion.

The more crime goes up, the less people trust government.

When people no longer trust government, the Constitution becomes toilet paper.

The government just let psychopaths trash and loot and burn every city in America.

America is OVER because ALL TRUST IS GONE. The Constitution is now made out of the same toilet paper that the constitution of Zimbabwe is written on.

Trust is why America worked. All trust is gone.

Constitution is relative.
